 I am an AIT (American Institute of Taxidermy)
certified Taxidermist. The level of training received during this
course is truly second to none. There is no way self teaching from
books and videos can come even close to "hands-on" live personalized
instruction by highly qualified and experienced instructors. This
approach removes any questions and ensures that students are adeptly
familiar with all techniques needed to become a master taxidermist.
This is a skill trade and would take decades of trial and error to
self-teach. The instructors have already made the mistakes and know how
to prepare students for any problems that could arise and how to avoid
them. Learning from teachers with this much knowledge and experience in
a classroom setting cannot be matched by any other method.
   As a
life-long hunter and fisherman, I have been an outdoorsman from a young
age. My experience comes from actually "being there" and understanding
what things actually look like and what customers want. I have a great
knowledge of not only the attitudes and habits of the specimen, but
also the customer!
   I am also a licensed Musky guide, with
literally decades of experience and 4 first place tournament wins.
Since I focus solely on areas for which I have a great passion and much
knowledge, I can guarantee an exceptional experience for my customers.

Tales Taxidermy Studio is a Full-Time, Full-Service dedicated Taxidermy
business. My passion is to deliver something truly special to my
customers. I don't just want to put a fish on your wall. I strive to
capture the details of your achievement in stunning accuracy and
detail. I offer a variety of styles unsurpassed in the industry. One of
my personal favorites is the 3 demensional fish mounts and
reproductions with a natural base. This enables me to capture the
specimen in its own natural habitat.
   We also offer FULL mount,
HALF mount and exquisite Bear Rugs! In addition to bear mounts, I will
be able to accomodate ALL small-to-medium sized mammal mounts and rugs
(examples: fox, coyote, beaver, raccoon, wolf, squirrel, etc..)
Secondly, I will be offering pedestal deer shoulder mounts! These deer
offerings will differ greatly from traditional shoulder mounts that are
seen on walls. The deer "heads" that I will produce will feature a
natural setting, including branches, twigs, long grass, leaves, etc.
The deer (from antlers down to shoulders) will be displayed in a more
natural pose. Such as, "sneaking through the woods", looking up, nose
down trailing position, alert, or any other pose the customer would
wish for, giving the impression of live action.

Graphite Reproductions
 One
of the aspects of my business that sets me apart from others, is the
convenience and quickness of internet ordering for my graphite
reproductions! All that is required for this is accurate measurements
of length and girth, and quality photographs of the sides of the fish
you would like displayed. This information can be sent via email and
allows customers to be able to order the highest quality reproduction
from the comfort of their own home! No need to travel many miles or to
pay high shipping expenses and hope your fish gets here in one piece.
All the different styles and poses are available. Phone help is always
available for any questions or concerns on might have. Nation-wide
ordering convenience.

LEAVE OUR SIGHT.  WE CONTROL ALL TANNING IN HOUSE SO YOUR HARD EARNED
TROPHY CANNOT BE LOST, STOLEN, MISPLACED, DAMAGED OR MIXED UP WITH
SOMEONE ELSES. 

Black Bears

Tales Taxidermy is your black bear specialist.  We live in the
Northwoods where we are around black bears all the time in their
natural habitat.  This allows us to capture them in natural settings
with custom built bases and we will also alter forms for the best
possible mount at no extra charge.

OUR BASES
All
bases are custom built by hand in our studio with the best materials
available.  We will not settle for cheaply built bases that are very
high priced that anybody can buy out of taxidermy supply catalogs. 
This policy alone guarantees that your trophy is a "one of a kind"!
